{"id":2104,"date":"2016-05-08T13:55:12","date_gmt":"2016-05-08T10:55:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ouluntaiji.fi\/2014\/?page_id=2104"},"modified":"2025-01-07T09:36:01","modified_gmt":"2025-01-07T07:36:01","slug":"in-english","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ouluntaiji.fi\/2014\/in-english\/","title":{"rendered":"In English"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Oulu Taiji Association, Finland (Oulun Taiji-seura, shortly OTS) is an non-profit organisation founded in 1992 to promote Chinese martial arts, mainly internal styles such as tai chi quan and qigong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The association is a member of the Finnish and International Wushu Federation (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fiwuf.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FIWUF<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iwuf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IWUF<\/a>) and Finnish Daoyin Yangsheng Gong Federation <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dyysg.fi\">www.dyysg.fi<\/a>. Our classes are based on standardized, mainly Yang-style tai chi chuan forms and health qigong forms with high International Health Qigong Federation&#8217;s standards (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ihqfo.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IHQF<\/a>). We also provide lessons in DYYSG qigong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading page_title\">Courses and fees 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Oulu Taiji Association provides courses on tai chi and qigong for both beginner and advanced levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tai chi classes for beginners start every autumn and after new year. New qigong courses begin every few months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seasonal training fee of 60\u20ac lets you join all our classes. Seasonal fee for only the online-training is 50\u20ac<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10-time card is 50\u20ac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During summer, we organize free classes for everybody at Ainolan puisto aka Hupisaaret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading page_title\">Spring training season 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TRAINING LOCATIONS<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Myllytulli-school, Kirkkokatu 1, Oulu. Use the back entrance from the side of \u00c5str\u00f6m-park! Code to the door is 15456#.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oulunsuu-school, Aapistie 4, Oulu. Instructor has the key to the training hall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">COURSES (2025)<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tai chi (yang style 24 and beginners class) <\/strong>on Wednesdays at 19:30-21 at Myllytulli School (starting 08. January)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tai chi chen-style<\/strong> on Fridays at 19:30-21:30 at Oulunsuu School (First time Saturday 04. January in Myllytulli School)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qigong course<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\"> on Saturdays at 12:00-13:20 (beginners) and 13:30-15:00 (advanced) at Myllytulli-school (starting 11. January)<br><br><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All courses are open for all levels and background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading page_title\">Free summer-sessions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Again at Summer 2025!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The summer training sessions are free of charge and are open to everyone. Beginners are welcome to join us.
